Art, Coffee Cake - Seurat to Riley: The Art of Perception, The Holburne, Bath

Join me for a look around Seurat to Riley: The Art of Perception. After the exhibition we'll have lunch/copy/cake at the museum cafe.

***This exhibition was on art group in November and got a mixed response from attendees, some of whom felt it was too small, it cost too much, or didn't like the art. I'd suggest having a look at the example photos to see whether you think it's likely to be your thing (it looks like my kind of thing!) This is the link: http://www.holburne.org/events/seurat-to-riley-the-art-of-perception/ ***

"This exhibition will explore one of the most exciting threads of art history of the past 150 years. Many artists from the Impressionists onwards were inspired by scientific colour theories, such as the pointillist work of Georges Seurat, where colours other than those actually painted on the canvas are generated in the eye of the viewer."

***We'll meet where the sofas are just beyond the reception desk, if you're late, you'll need to come into the exhibition and find me. I've got reddish-brown hair and carry a silver backpack handbag***

Cost: £10/£9 concs/ Free to all Museum Members Under 16s go FREE (Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult).

Had to change the dates on this one due to easy jet flight calendar change so now we are going Friday to Friday ....

Ok guys I have found a couple of lovely chalets for us to book so now looking for deposits so we can get booked up before they sell out. I have changed the dates to coincide with EasyJet flights as the only do 2 flights per week

accomodation will be no more than £200.00 per person

food kitty £30.00 per person

minibus hire for 8 people approx £60.00 per person
