Our day-Retreats is aimed for Beginners & Intermediate Level.  This will allow you to sample Yoga, Meditation, Mindfullness, Life Coaching, Emotional Freedom Technique, Healthy Nutrition and Juicing without that overwhelming feeling that you won’t know what to do or you will look like the only person not knowing what to do.  The aim of the day is to guide you, show you how you can start any of the modalities, no matter what level you are at.  So even if you attend a yoga class regularly this course is also for you.  Technique is always important in Yoga and their are always small alterations you can make to improve your practice.
Some times you need to push yourselves to try new things, to step out of your comfort zone and give yourself some ‘me’ time to recharge your batteries in what has become the hustle and bustle of modern living and this is what our One-Day-Retreats are about. 
Wellbeing for Cancer
10:30am - 2:30pm

Eat Move Glow is a local organisation providing a cancer toolbox for women. We aim to empower and support women affected by cancer with nutrition, exercise and wellness tools. Hosted by Well Bath, this event offers a nurturing space for women who have received a diagnosis, are in treatment, or those caring for or listening to friends, partners or family affected by cancer.
The day provides:

Nutritional lecture, guidance, sample snacks and a delicious vegetarian lunch

Choice of gentle yoga or mindfulness session

A selection of wellness treatments to sample, including acupuncture, reflexology and aromatherapy

A supportive network and space to process your experience

Introduction to Colour and Texture

Blow away those creative cobwebs and emerge yourself in an exploration of colour and texture. Use a variety of mediums and techniques to open up a vivid world of create delights.

Pencil To Paint: Jan - Mar 2018

For most of us, our relationship with art begins with a line. We take a pencil or a crayon and delineate our idea. In our enthusiasm, we may even attempt to colour it in. In the experience of many, that attempt leads only to disappointment. We know that a painting is more than just a coloured-in drawing, but how do we do it? What exactly is the difference?
This ten week course explores the gulf between drawing and painting and then seeks to provide a bridge between the two disciplines. Beginning with simple pencil studies, we will then develop our work in both charcoal and ink, gaining confidence in our abilities, before embarking on five weeks of painting in bold colour.
This course is open to all-comers and is ideal for beginners or those who wish to take their art in a new direction. 
Topics will include:
Line, measurement and proportion
Tonal value
Colour: theory and mixing
Tables and chairs and a roll of newsprint paper are provided. Please bring a drawing board, paper or pad and your preferred drawing media. Materials required for sessions using colour will be discussed nearer the time.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available for a small donation.
