Workshop (2hr): Develop an understanding of the challenges faced by ASD children in school and discuss reasonable adjustments and support strategies in primary and secondary education

Use the Free Time to do what you want – talk to others, find out more information, or have quiet time by yourself
Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food or we can order a packed lunch from a local caterer in advance (cost tbc)
Under 16s FREE tickets must be booked online. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Only older children (aged 10+) who are able to listen or self-occupy should attend, sessions aren’t suitable for younger children
The Curly hair Project (CHP) is an award-wining social enterprise founded by author and entrepreneur Alis Rowe.
On behalf of CHP, the speaker Helen Eaton (MSc, PGCE) has appeared on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Wiltshire, and has featured in Wiltshire Gazette & Herald, Dorset Echo and Swindon Advertiser.
Helen has extensive experience of Autism within her own family and has run over 50 CHP workshops.
She gained a Primary teaching qualification in 2012 and has over 20 years of management training experience, working with leading IT companies, banks and public sector organisations.
