Singles Night 2018 - Return of the Shenanigans (Bristol - BBE/BBS joint)
The Bath & Bristol Everything Meetup Group
7:45pm - 11:55pm

It's that time of the year again, where all over the country, stressed partners find themselves trying to choose that 'perfect gift', search for the seemingly impossible table space free at that uber-expensive restaurant, preparing to bankrupt themselves just shelling out on the starters...and get ready to fight to the death for that last bunch of flowers still in the shop! Yes, Valentines is almost here...

But...if you fancy less stress, more fun, join BBS/BBE instead and get together for a night of socialising, banter drinks, and good company. Yes, following the success of last year's, Singles' Night returns...with all the shenanigans, and label-matching fun!

So, join us and who knows, maybe find yourself meeting that someone special...or just a bunch of good new friends :-)

*Updated* Venue now confirmed! We will be at Horts - central city location, good drinks selection and we have entire front area reserved, so easy to find us!
FREE Gig-BECKY LAWRENCE, Acoustic, Country, Classic Rock, Rock@Barley Mow, Bath.
The Bath & Bristol Everything Meetup Group
8:15pm - 11pm

This is a joint event between BBE and BBWHSG.

I have NOT see this artist before, but the reviews looked good & the samples from her website sounded promising. See the link below, so why not join me to see this up and coming Bath based performer BECKY LAWRENCE.

I will be in the Bar from 8pm & looking out for you, Simon-C, Event Host :-)

See link below:-

Join Becky for a jam-packed night full of country tunes past & present as well as some brand-new Becky originals!

About the artist.

Becky hails from the Isle of Man and is a graduate from The London School Of Musical Theatre.

Currently working on her own music with a platinum selling producer in Bristol and a fantastic sound engineer, Becky can be found playing along side The Bourbons UK in Bath. Becky would describe her style as 'country fusion' which she describes as being "totally organic and was formed by simply putting all my favourite styles into one large bowl and giving it a good mix!" She hopes she can make more people aware of this brand new genre of singing.

With a background of Musical Theatre, Becky enjoy's getting her thought's across through various genres of music and lyrics. Being brought up listening to bands like AC/DC, Alice Cooper, The Carpenters, Genesis, Becky's vocal style can adapt to whatever is going on. Her main love though is country music and that is the genre she is striving to work towards

The venue

Opened as the Barley Mow beerhouse in the 1840’s. Was known as the just “The Barley” for a number of years.

Just six minutes walk from the city center down beautiful Pultney St. and next to Sydney park, this traditional British pub has all the hallmarks of a great local pub with three award winning ales, keg and bottled ciders, lagers and a good selection of wines and spirits.

If you sign up and then decide not to go at the last minute, please change your RSVP to NO so someone else can go & myself and others don't spend the evening looking out for you.

I will be in the main bar by 8:00pm and looking out for you. I look forward to seeing you all there, should be a great night.

Many thanks Simon-C Event Host :-)
