Telephoto Wildlife Photography Workshop
9:45am - 5:30pm
Nick Upton is coming to Combe Grove to lead a series of workshops aimed at people who already enjoy photography using a Digital SLR camera and want to learn more or improve their technique, acquire some new tricks, or would like to photograph forms of nature they haven’t attempted before. You do not need to be an expert photographer but if you use more than the auto settings and have an understanding of aperture control, shutter speed, ISO and how these affect an image, then these workshops are just right for you.
Workshop 2: Telephoto Photography of Wildlife and Field Trip to Corsham Lake
This workshop is for photographers who would like to use telephoto lenses – from modest-sized to massive - to capture classy photos of birds, mammals and other subjects in nature. It will show how a combination of good technical skills, field craft, imaginative shooting angles and knowledge of seasonal opportunities all help to create memorable work in locations ranging from domestic to further afield.
The workshop will include:
A presentation and demonstration of equipment and techniques
Field trip to Corsham Lake for a photography session
Tea, coffee and an afternoon snack
Transport to and from Corsham Lake
All you need is a Digital SLR camera and some creative energy!
The workshops can be taken individually or as a course of three, sequentially building on skills taught in previous workshops.
