2018 Keynsham Music 'In The Park' Festival.
The Bath & Bristol Everything Meetup Group
12pm - 10pm

Another date to log-in to your diary now so you don't forget....!!

The Keynsham Music 'In The Park' FREE (Yes FREE) music festival on Sunday 1st July.

Keynsham’s music festival week, starting on the 25th June and culminating on Sunday 1st July, includes some of the best performers in the region and beyond – in a whole range of musical genres and arts: delicious food, real ales, stalls and creative activities for all to enjoy, so come join me to experience the final day of this event..!!! Other events during the weeklong festival maybe posted up, once the full-line-up of performers is known.

This truly community festival is happens with public support, the tireless effort of supporters and volunteers and your donations. A voluntary contribution of £3-£5 per person on the day in the buckets carried by event staff will be appriciated! And you can purchase a coveted festival wristband too for just £1! also to be found in shops and pubs around Keynsham town.

For further details see http://www.keynshammusicfestival.co.uk/

Any further information I get will be in posted 'up-dates'.... so watch this space.

Suggest we meet-up inside the Park, and I will message a location (usually set-up in front of the main stage which is Back Lane / Bath Hill side of the Park) where we will have space for blankets (and chairs - if you bring them) and my mobile number will also be available for those of you who maybe are 'Newbie's' or your internal SAT NAV is a bit dodgy...! :-)

If a few of you can bring some blankets, we can make a base camp and then flit between the several stages (and the bars) during the afternoon. Fingers crossed for good weather... and picnic's are in order. No glass bottles / containers allowed inside the Park.... so as I did last year... decanted wine into plastic bottles and leave in the freezer over-night... (do not freeze in glass bottles)... and the wine was fine and still chilled into the latter hours of the day...!! :-)

And finally..... don't forget the sun-glasses, hats and of course, the sun cream....!! :-)

The Bath & Bristol Everything Meetup Group
1pm - 5pm

Nine new gardens, so a complete change from the gardens seen last year.
£5 Open Garden Passports, including a map showing how to find the gardens, will be on sale at the church hall from 1.00 pm. After you've bought your passport, meet outside the hall - I'll be wearing a Panama hat.
We'll split into smaller groups, setting off from outside the hall, between 1.10 pm and 1.50 pm. Each group will be led by myself, Michael D, Roy, or Paul L. The first garden we'll visit will be number 4 on the Open Gardens Passport - 6 Church Avenue, BS9 1LD. We can suggest short cuts for those who don't wish to visit all nine gardens.
Teas, and home-made cakes, available at the church hall, but NOT at the gardens. The gardens are open from 1.00 pm, and last entry to gardens will be at 5.00 pm. Some gardens will have plants for sale.
Parking:
Best to park in Church Road, between the junction with Mariners Drive, BS9 1QL, and the junction with Knoll Hill, BS9 1QT, and then walk back along Church Road, and follow the sign to the church, down Mariners Drive, to the hall behind the church.
