Local Events Bath

Fairfield Festival 2018
6:30pm - 11:30pm

Fairfield House, Bath was the home of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie between 1936 and 1941 - the five years he spent in exile following the invasion of his homeland, then known as Abyssinia.
Following his return to Ethiopia, the Emperor gifted the house to the City of Bath, to be used by the community, in thanks for the warm welcome he had received by local residents.
To honour and celebrate what would have been the Emperor's 126th birthday, during 2018 Virgo People are hosting a programme of events in support of the annual running and ongoing maintenance costs of Fairfield House.
Fairfield Festival 2018 is one of  a series of events and includes some of the most-talented reggae artists to come out of Jamaica and the UK.  Confirmed artists include Teflon, Dizee Carta, Deadly Hunta, Sophie Squire, Nateesha Stream, Jah Izreal, Jabalance, Phee-Phee Star and Yasus Afari. Others to be announced.
