CRPS UK invites you to attend our 2018 Conference focusing on “Living Well with CRPS” on the 20th and 21st October. Come and learn new methods of managing symptoms, how to get the most out of your medications and tools for wellbeing.
This year we will be running our adult and our child/adolescent conferences in parallel. We'll be holding a mix of talks and interacitve breakout sessions where you can find out more about a particular subject which interests you. The provisional line up for the adults conference is:
Registration from 9:30am. Conference commences at 10am
Saturday:
Professor Karen Rodham - CRPS and Self management
Dr Jacqueline Bailey - Mindfullness
Michael Wong - Introducing Gentle Movement, Tai Chi and Qi Gong
Dr Chris Barker - Introducing the new RCP guidelines for CRPS in Adults
Dr Catherine Edgeworth - Pills, pills and more pills. Getting the most out of your Medication(s)
Heather Wallace - Managing your GP appointment
Helen Hoy - Para Sport
Mary-Clare of Gloucester Wheels4All - Adaptive bikes and cycling
Throughout the day on saturday Vicky Lynch will be providing hand and foot massages in a separate private room (bookable on the day)

Sunday:

The Child and Adolescent conference will take place only in the mornings with atendees able to either join the main conference in the afternoon or explore Bath.

Tickets are available for both Saturday and Sunday for £6 per day or for the whole weekend for £9. Lunch is included on both days and there will be refreshments throughout the day. Carers are welcome to attend for free but please ensure to select the ticket including a carer’s place. Breakout sessions/workshops will need to be booked before the conference as places are limited, you will be contacted prior to the event to choose your workshops.
